Boarding our sailing catamaran at the Marlin Marina, you’ll enjoy an evening of calm water cruising on Trinity Inlet, taking in the sights and sounds of this tropical port city and its surrounding mangroves, as they transition from day to night.
Every journey begins with bubbles, as all good dinner cruises should. With your glasses charged, stroll the interior or exterior decks and admire the view as the sky transforms from blue to red to orange and finally a silky black, filled with thousands of sparkling stars.
Enjoy a fantastic evening of calm water cruising with entertainment, delicious meal and fabulous views, including sunset over the rainforest-clad mountains (depending on the time of year). Starting at Marlin Marina, this cruise takes you on a journey deep into the interior of Trinity Inlet and its winding tributaries. Keep your eyes peeled, you might even see a crocodile. The cruise passes along Cairns’ waterfront and Esplanade precinct, delivering panoramic views of the twinkling night lights of this port city.
Your journey takes you deep into the heart of Trinity Inlet and across the waterfront precinct of Cairns, from the Cruise Liner Terminal to the Esplanade. The water is calm, the weather mild and the night is yours to enjoy, with a delicious buffet featuring some of the region’s best produce, including seafood. This is the ultimate in waterside dining.
The Cairns dinner cruise departs Marlin Marina at 6.30pm, returning at 9.00pm .Check-in and boarding is at the boat, moored at Marlin Marina, between 6-6.15pm. A complimentary drink is served on arrival and the bar is open for you to relax on board prior to departure.

Sunday Lunch Cruise - selected dates
Whether it’s a family occasion or a celebration just for two, a lunch cruise is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in paradise. Departing from the Cairns Marlin Marina, this 1.5 hour cruise through sheltered tropical waters is the perfect relaxing Sunday treat.
As we cruise gently under sail, enjoy the sea breezes and panoramic views from the expansive outdoor decks as we head deep into the heart of Trinity Inlet with its winding tributaries and Admiralty Island. Sip on a festive mimosa and feel yourself unwind.
Keep a look out for wildlife as we cruise by the mangroves and then settle down for lunch in the cool, comfortable air-conditioned interior, with large panoramic windows to ensure you don’t miss the any of the scenery. Enjoy a delicious Sunday roast lunch served at the table, cooked to perfection by our onboard chefs. A children’s meal is available for ages 4-14, with a smaller portion size.
A fully licensed bar is also available with a wide selection of beers, wines, spirits and tropical cocktails.
Sunset Drinks Cruise - selected dates
Celebrate the end of the week with a Friday night drinks cruise! Board our sailing catamaran for a 1.5-hour sunset cruise along the calm waters of Trinity Inlet and the Esplanade, taking in the sights and sounds of the city.
With a complimentary drink in hand, enjoy the views from on deck as the sun sets and the city lights twinkle. Expansive grazing platters featuring a range of cured meats, cheeses and dips will be served at each table and our luxurious sailing catamaran is fully licensed, selling a range of beverages.
Friday night cruises are available weekly, departing Marlin Marina at 5.30pm and returning at 7pm. Check-in and boarding is at the boat, moored at Marlin Marina, from 5pm. A welcome drink (sparkling wine, beer or soft drink) is served on arrival and the bar is open for you to relax on board prior to departure.
