Dive with the Sharks
An experience for everyone, whether you are a certified diver or have never breathed underwater before, you can take the plunge into the Cairns Aquarium Reef Tank!
Your Dive with the Sharks experience begins at 12:00pm with a medical check, then our experienced dive team will ensure that you are comfortable with the SCUBA equipment and breathing underwater, before it's time to dive into Cairns Aquarium's underwater world!

Aquarium by Twilight - Wednesday to Saturday
As the sun sets on Tropical North Queensland’s mountain ranges, steamy rainforests and shallow reef lagoons stir with life. Reptiles, Amphibians, Insects and nocturnal fish sense the onset of dusk and emerge from their day time lairs. Brightly coloured Reef fish seek shelter in coral caves as predatory night time sharks, rays and grouper awaken. “Aquarium by Twilight” takes you on an exclusive guided tour to witness this remarkable transition as day slides into sunset.
