A 54ft Assegai, custom built game fishing vessel which was launched late 2014, and released for charter in 2015. One of the most technologically advanced game boats to hit the waters of Australia thus far.
She boasts a Seakeeper gyro, Furuno omni-directional sonar, three wetfaced keel mounted transducers connected to the new Furuno chirp sounder system as well a Furuno 1150 sounder with a widebeam transducer.
Set up for scuba diving, she features an in-built dive compressor and customised dive ladder for easy access in and out of the water.
Featuring the Twindisc Express Joystick system which smoothly and simultaneously actuates and controls engines, transmissions, propellers and thrusters, which can hold the vessel in any fixed position , crab the boat diagonally or straight sideways and rotate it 360° on its axis.
Quality Tackle
A full range of custom rods and reels and matching terminal tackle is provided ranging from 8kg – 60kg (including fighting chair) to suit the targeted species of fish.
Accommodations
Hosting up to 8 guests for day trips and accomodating up to 4 guests for multi-day live-aboard trips. Guest accommodation consists of two cabins and two bathrooms. The master suite includes a Queen sized bed with a single bunk on either side, as well as a full walk in ensuite. The second guest cabin houses two single bunks and has access to the main bathroom and there is a third crew cabin. The vessel has air conditioning throughout with temperature control in each room and includes premium quality manchester such as Sheridan towels & sheets.
Facilities
The large stainless steel kitchen includes, gas cooktop and stove, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and ice chipper as well as many other creature comforts and the saloon boasts a 48 inch flat screen tv which connects to the sounder, plotter and sonar in the fly bridge so you can view the running systems of the vessel at any time.
Wi-fi is available in some coastal locations and the vessel is equipped with an emergency satellite phone.

Charter Options
Light Tackle & Sports Fishing Charters
We offer light tackle fishing for black marlin, sailfish and other pelagic species such as spanish mackerel and mahi mahi seasonally.
Light tackle fishing basically involves matching the size/style of the tackle you are using, to the fish you are attempting to catch. Predominantly we use up to 15kg line on specially designed rods and reels. Great style of fishing for the first time angler, right through to the pro.
Heavy Tackle & Giant Black Marlin Fishing
Heavy tackle fishing for giant black marlin, blue marlin and other pelagic species is available seasonally. We recommend 4+ day live-aboard trips for heavy tackle fishing. Heavy tackle fishing is the ‘real deal’ when it comes to chasing BIG FISH. Trolling with large bait/live bait or lures on 60kg main line, providing up to 40kg of drag using 130lb strength fishing rods and fighting the fish from a specially designed chair.
Bottom/Reef Fishing
We offer day trips and live-aboard options for bottom fishing on the reef. Bottom fishing for reef species is available most of the year round and our most popular day trip option.
The targeted (and most tasty!) fish on the GBR is coral trout, red emperor and nannygai.

Tournaments are held throughout the light and heavy tackle fishing season.

Scuba Diving + Snorkelling

We offer scuba diving for up to 4 guests, complete with all the necessary equipment and your own dive guide. Never been diving before? Not a problem, we can also offer first time dives for eligible guests right here on the Great Barrier Reef. If you’d prefer to float on the surface and take it all in, we have snorkelling gear available. Let us take to you to the most exclusive and incredible locations and experience the life down under.
