Day 1
You will visit Fogg Dam Nature Reserve
where you can view a menagerie of birdlife, snakes and other reptiles.
From here, you
travel onto the Mary River for a spectacular crocodile / wildlife cruise.
After lunch, you will visit Bowali Visitor Centre and then spend the rest of the
afternoon exploring Ubirr Rock where the Aboriginal rock art dates back an
estimated 20,000 years. You camp in the permanent campsite in Kakadu
National Park. (LD)
Day 2
This morning you will travel to the awesome Jim Jim Falls
located deep within striking escarpment country and walk to the base of
the falls, enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful area.
After lunch you will then travel to Twin Falls (only able to be
accessed by swimming) to admire the cascading waterfall and sunbake on the
sandy bank before travelling back to Darwin. (BL)

Day 1 - Darwin to Mary River
See the falls of Litchfield National Park before arriving at the Mary
River Wetlands. This afternoon look for ‘crocs’ and other wildlife on our
private river cruise. Arrive at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge to
experience an Aboriginal Corroborree, dinner and overnight camp. (LD)
Day 2 - Mary River to Kakadu
We call in at Mamukala Wetlands then head to the awesome Jim Jim Falls
to take a walk to the base of the falls before continuing on to Twin
Falls. Here we join a National Park operated boat and boardwalk experience
up the stunning gorge to the waterfall where you can relax on the sandy
bank. We drive on to Kakadu for dinner and our overnight camp. (BLD)
Day 3 - Kakadu to Darwin
Our first stop is Ubirr where we discover ancient Aboriginal rock art.
We continue our journey to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where we do some
hiking and enjoy a refreshing dip in the plunge pools. We then return to
Darwin, enjoying the impressive scenery along the way. (BL)

Day 1 - Darwin to Mary River
You travel to Fogg Dam Nature Reserve and enjoy a wetlands walk
viewing a variety of birds and reptiles before following a dirt road to
the pristine Mary River Wetlands, passing scenic billabongs and
sensational areas for bird and wildlife viewing, on your way to our
afternoon crocodile cruise. You arrive at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge
for the overnight camp and enjoy an Aboriginal Corroborree, learning about
the local culture and way of life. (LD)
Day 2 - Mary River to Kakadu

Day 3 - Kakadu
Your first stop is Ubirr, an area rich in Aboriginal history with
spectacular views of the surrounding country. Here you’ll see some of the
best examples of Aboriginal rock art to be found in Australia that date
back an estimated 20,000 years. You pass through more beautiful wetland
areas on our journey to Barramundi Gorge (Maguk), where you do some hiking
and enjoy a refreshing dip in the plunge pools. You then head for the
campsite at Gunlom to watch the vivid colours of the tropical sunset.

Day 4 - Kakadu to Katherine Gorge
A fantastic day of hiking and swimming! You start at Gunlom Falls,
climbing to the top of the falls to enjoy the stunning views and swim in
the plunge pools before heading to Edith Falls, where you can take another
dip in the top pool. You leave for the permanent camp near Katherine
Gorge. (BLD)
Day 5 - Katherine Gorge to Adelaide River
You spend half a day canoeing or cruising (at your own expense) the
spectacular Katherine Gorge. After lunch you can relax in the clear waters
of Katherine Hot Springs or hike to Robin Falls (seasonal) before making
your way to this evening's camp, where you sample traditional ‘Top End’
tucker. (BLD)
Day 6 - Adelaide River to Darwin
You head for another of the Top End’s beautiful features, Litchfield
National Park and spend the day exploring Florence, Tolmer and Wangi Falls
and Buley Rockhole as well as the huge magnetic termite mounds. After a
fun day of swimming and bush walking you head back to Darwin. (BL)
