Cool Waters Caravan Park

We are proud to offer guests an enjoyable stay in our cabins and caravan sites in a unique tropical setting with a natural clear freshwater creek bordering most of the park. Wildlife is abundant - mountain trout, turtles, colourful birds set against the backdrop of magnificent mountains.

We are fortunate to have the benefit of our caravan park entrance being on a major road but the park itself, in particular the campground, is situated on the creek well removed from any road noise.

With huge trees that are hundreds of years old, towering palm trees as well as newly landscaped garden beds designed for privacy, Cool Waters Holiday Park can offer shade and serenity.

In addition to the attributes of the park, Cool Waters has young, enthusiastic, helpful staff with great local knowledge. They will bend over backwards to make your stay an enjoyable one - our visitor book speaks for itself! We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and well maintained facilities and would love for you to experience it for yourself.
 

Our BBQ Area / Camp Kitchen has all the things you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Equipped with modern cookers, fridge, toaster, kettle, gas BBQs and microwave you have the option of cooking anything you like set in our tropical gardens on the banks of Freshwater Creek. There are plenty of large picnic benches outside or undercover and the BBQ's are free of charge.

In addition to the Camp Kitchen we also have a poolside gazebo offering large benches and tables and a TV under the cool of a thatched roof and a separate undercover poolside barbecue area.

Cool Waters Camp Kitchen has enough space for many groups of people to cook and relax at the same time, either enjoying the peace or while watching the large TV. This is the place where our Entertainment Nights and Scone Morning Teas are held which are organised for everyone to join in if they would like to. The area has been designed to enhance the life of the camping and caravanning folk staying at Cool Waters Caravan Park.
 

CARAVAN SITES

All Caravan sites are powered and shady with some offering a creekfront location. Visitors have described Cool Waters Holiday Park as "One of the most beautiful parks in Australia".

CAMPING SITES


Cool Waters caravan park boasts an excellent camping area with lush green sites, some with absolute creek frontage, across from cane fields with a mountain backdrop. Other sites are set amongst the rainforest shade trees alongside the creek, providing shade and cooler weather even on the hottest of days. We have a few unpowered sites but most have power.

COCONUT CABINS

The Coconut Cabins are available either with, or without ensuite. They are open-plan with all the comfortable living requirements at affordable prices. All of these cabins are air conditioned, have a two burner stove/grill, fridge, television and usual crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is an undercover outside area with outdoor furniture and car parking adjacent.
 

MOTEL UNITS


The Motel Units at Cool Waters Holiday Park are the perfect budget accommodation choice for those travelers who prefer an ensuite.
Located near all the caravan park's facilities the units provide spacious room for up to four people at a price that's affordable.

The motel units are open plan with air conditioning, fridge, television, two burner cook top, microwave, electric fry pan and usual crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. They feature a bathroom, double or queen size bed, sofa or single bed and 4 person dining suite. The largest of the motel units also has bunk beds and an extra large bathroom.


DAINTREE CABINS

The Daintree Cabin accommodates up to 5 people, it has a double bed in a separate bedroom and a triple bunk in the passage opposite the bathroom. The living area is separate with a couch and self contained kitchen. This Cabin has your own undercover deck area out the front with tables and chairs and also comes with the added comfort of the pool being close by.

REEF CABINS

The Reef Cabins are open-plan and accommodate 2 people with the added comfort of a Queen sized bed. It is a pleasurable experience sitting on the deck at the end of the day enjoying the Far North Queensland lifestyle.
